I found this blog via David's last post and I just had to have a look. I'm still on a shared host, but that's fine for now as I'm not getting enough traffic to warrant the extra expense. On the rare occasion when traffic spikes because of one post or another, my host has a unique feature called CPU sharing which just slows the site down a little.
