		<description>Very cool post. I&#039;d add that when your brain is engaged in gratitude, other brain regions related to stress and fear/anxiety get very quiet. Gratitide and stress are incompatible, and gratitude wins.

I&#039;m a bit of a neuroscience geek who follows the research on brain changes that come from meditation. (Like the previous poster said, rooted in truth, not like a lot of airy-fairy nonsense.)

If anyone wants to try a simple, &quot;non-airy-fairy&quot; meditation, there&#039;s a free download at my site (should be able to get there by clicking my name above).</description>
