Hey Trail of Treasures,

Thanks for stopping by! This is my personal blog, so it has all kinds of random stuff on it. Perhaps you're looking for Simpli's company blog? If so, you can find it at http://simpliblog.com/

Better idea: Waste less time talking in length about your “treasure trail” and problems on a blog that is so closely related to your company.

Getting regular exercise has helped me become more efficient just due to the increased amount of energy it created. Good luck!

I recently limited to only checking email 3 times per day- once when I get up, once before lunch, and once before I leave the office. I leave ~2 hours at the start of my day to responses if needed.

That saves time I lose by checking email, but a bigger time saver has actually been convincing my coworkers to not email me for little things we could discuss in a call or via phone. We save the email for occasions when remote employees need to be copied or if something is needed "in writing."

So far so good. On a good day I'll get less than a dozen emails.

When I first started going to the gym, I was lucky because my company offered to pay for gym memberships. The catch was that you had to go at least 10 times a month for them to pay for that month. If you didn't go at least 10 times, you had to pay. Since the gyms that you could choose from were expensive, that was a good motivation to go 3 times a week.
