Simpli hits its 1 millionth dollar of revenue

After 5 years and 2 months of running my business, I finally got to see the ultimate “odometer flip.” Simpli hit its 1 millionth dollar of revenue today, September 9th, at 2:11AM PST.

I amÂ ecstatic about this. After everything this company has been through, to finally hit $1 million means we are doing a lot of things right. Simpli continues to grow, and our customers continue to grow with us. This is a very exciting time.

Here’s to $2 million…and beyond!

EDIT 9/18/2006: People really seem to be getting the wrong idea about this blog post. Rather than removing it completely, I figured I’d clarify a few points. This is $1M since we started with this billing system approximately 3 years ago. It is not $1M this year or this month (I wish… we’ll get there!) It also doesn’t mean I’m a millionaire. That whole $1M has been invested or spent on things like colo space, electricity, servers, office space, salaries… you know, all that stuff needed toÂ run a business.
