For the best burito in SJ, go to the Guatalahara Market at 10th and empire (a bit north of downtown, from highway 87, exit Taylor, go east (away from the airport), right on 10th (a one way street) and two or so blocks down is Empire, the market is right on the corner). The best in San Jose, and is has been for years.

OMG. I was just at Country Inn on Saturday. Jess drove us all the way down there. It's hellza good.

Unfortunately, there were only old people and I got to listen to some lady talking about how she had named her various cats; mittens, fluffy, buffy, smudge...

So, PHP vs. Java? Is that like, Piping Hot Pancakes vs. coffee?

You've seen Overheard in New York, haven't you? It's genius. Dirtier, though, and not as geeky as you might like. http://www.overheardinnewyork.com/

I loved SJ as well, until I couldn't find a job there. It was always pretty cool and laid back until you mentioned some technology, and then the flames set in. :)

Many a time I've sat in bookstores or coffee shops or heck, the Country Inn off stevens creek, and listened to conversations that made things click in my head.

Ben lived in Cupertino off a road off Stevens Creek, and I lived in San Jose (10 minutes away) behind the car lots on Stevens Creek. I loved San Jose, even though all the eateries closed at ungodly hours of the night (9pm).

Although I must say I enjoy having a job and a house and a dog, three things I have now that I didn't (and couldn't) then. :D
